Penfolds Grange wine is one of the world’s renowned wines. Penfolds Grange wine is without doubt one of Australia’s popular wines. With humble start in the 1950’s, Penfolds Grange has retained its place as Australia’s most renowned red wine for more than 40 years. This wine is Australia’s most prestigious red wine leading in the world market.
Penfolds Grange wine is prepared from Syrah(Shiraz) grape and with little proportion of Cabernet Sauvignon. In 2004, an individual bottle of Penfolds Grange wine was sold at auction for more than A$50,000. In an era when fortified wines were in fashion; Penfolds Grange wine was styled as an influential wine.
Massandra Sherry 1775

Massandra Sherry de la Frontera 1775, popularly known as the Massandra Sherry 1775 is one of the most expensive wines which was sold for a whopping $43,500 for a single bottle at Sotheby’s London in 2001. It came from the collection of Massandra Winery which is well known for its large collection (over a million) of both Russian and European vintage wines bearing the Imperial seal. Among these, the 1775 Sherry was the oldest European wine.
