The Wurstmarkt wine festival is known for the celebration of admirable local wines. In the town of Bad Durkheim in Germany, this wine festival occurs every second and third weekend in the month of September. It is situated in the center of Rhineland-Palatinate which is the biggest wine growing region in Germany. Durkheim’s Wurstmarkt wine festival is one of the biggest, most entertaining and traditional communal festival in Germany.

This largest festival is celebrated from last 570 years. It also prides itself in becoming the world’s largest wine festival. This event started as a fair for wine growers and local peasants and today attracts over 600,000 tourists annually.

Wine Festival in Miami

People from all over the world travel to Miami Beach every year to enjoy the country’s largest wine and food festival. The South Beach wine and food festival is an event of four days exhibiting the world’s popular spirits and wine producers, culinary personalities and chefs. This festival is hosted by Florida International University and Southern Wine and Spirits of Florida.

The festival was started in the year 1997 at Florida International University’s Biscayne Bay Campus. At that time it was a single day occasion known as “Florida Extravaganza”.Later in 2001, it was shifted to South Beach and was renamed as the South Beach Wine and Food festival.
