Beef Broccoli Lo Mein- For Chinese food aficionados
An easy to make delicious dish to satisfy your Chinese cuisine craving. Pair it with a nice red wine and you’ll have a perfect supper.
Ingredients
Beef flank steak - 1 lb
Egg noodles - 8 oz
Broccoli (chopped) - 3 cups
White onion (sliced) - 1 cup
Light soy sauce - 3 tbsp
Sugar - 2 tsp
Sesame oil - 1 tsp
Olive oil - 1 tbsp
Fresh ginger (minced) - 1 tbsp
Garlic (minced) - 4 cloves
Oyster sauce - 1 tbsp
Chili paste - 1 tbsp
Preparation
Slice the beef across the grain thinly.Boil the egg noodles and keep aside when cooked. Heat the olive oil in a skillet. Add garlic and ginger, stir for few seconds; add onion and broccoli and sauté for 3-4 minutes. Add beef and let it cook. Add sesame oil, soy sauce, sugar, chili paste, oyster sauce and mix it well. Finally add the egg noodles, stir for couple of minutes and serve.
